While I have been spending more time at home contemplating my future, as well as my navel, it has come to my attention that advertisers are just plain annoying and silly. Pet peeves come and go with me, as I am sure they do with most of you, sometimes more apparent than others. So knowing that, I am hoping that this one is on its way out. And the term PET peeve is not used lightly.
Can someone please tell my why it is that in order to sell a room deodorizer, an octopus must become the head of a household and wield an iron? Or why in a movie theater, to sell refreshments, cats must somehow stand on two feet and dance a la Fred and Ginger? These are but two examples of the use of animals as humans that absolutely sends me over the edge!
I know, I am overthinking.
P.S. I will admit to falling in love with the yellow lab that sings at camp for the Advantix pet guard stuff. That is the cutest little puppy and all he wants to do is have fun at camp!

I love the puppy too, his little song is so cute! But I can't stand when they make animals act like humans in commercials. It is so demeaning. More so to the animals.
So I can't decide if you are hating being a domestic goddess or if you're just adjusting to said title. LOL Either way, you're doing it beautifully.
Animals/critters talking like people is disturbing - period, end of story.
I really like the new layout. You could have worse Pet Peeves. I, for one, have one about which way the tp goes!
